Although, I’m pleased that Fuji’s Instax is now available in the US.

Zoom Lens Coffee Mug Helps Keep Photographers Caffeinated
OMG: Perfect XMAS gift (*Hint, hint*).
Looks like a Canon, too. I want one even more.
Change Me is a worldwide project that brings people together to share ideas through powerful imagery. Each participant submits an image along with a short commentary explaining why that image has special meaning to them. The goal is to find an image that will make an impact on people viewing it, an image that might Change Me in some way.
It would be a big disappointment if it didn’t come with most of the cool new features the 50D will have. If for some reason it were a release like the 40D was to the 30D, I’d wait another round before upgrading (for the full frame).
We’ll see.
Of fucking course.
In a year, I’m sure we’ll be hearing about the Canon 90D.
I HEART CANON!
I will try this for when my new point and shoot camera stops working.
Edit: OMG, I just realized that I could upgrade my semi-broken SD550 for a Rebel XT and use that as a back up!
It’s not exactly the same thing as having something pop right out of the camera after taking a picture and waiting for it to develop right there in front of your eyes. I think I would miss the anticipation and the fact that I cannot “edit” or “choose” which picture I like. Instant is without thought process and, to me, less regret.
But I still like the size of the prints, the fact that it doesn’t use ink, and the paper is less expensive that my Fuji Cheki.
New toy. I know, I shouldn’t have. But it was cute. And I’ve never had an instant camera before. Film is not dead. Yet.
What a coincidence—this week’s Photojojo topic!

I used to shoot exclusively telephoto shots because I loved selective focus and the extreme bokeh. But, over the last couple of years, I’ve gone wider and wider. I’m finding the sweeping view very…pulling. And there is this sort of “spontaneous, shot from the hip” sort of feel to super wide angle shots which I find creative.
I really wanted the Canon 16-35mm F2.8L. But having a 1.6x crop factor on my Canon 30D, the Canon EF-S 10-22mm F3.5-4.5 would have been better. Both were out of my price range.
It’s a very soft lens and not the highest quality lens I own, but I am loving my Sigma 10-20mm F4-5.6!
