Song: Everything, All
Artist: The Wrong Trousers
Album: One and Counting…

A trio of San Diego kids who started off playing in such venues as Balboa Park.

I love the harp in this song. Also check out their cover of the Postal Service’s Such Great Heights.

Song: Song That Makes Brenden Cry
Artist: The Storrow Band
Album: The Storrow Band

By far this has always been my favorite song on the album, although it’s been one of my favorite LPs. The guitar is absolutely beautiful. I actually spliced the first thirty seconds of this song and set it as my text alert on my cell phone for a couple of years and never got tired of it.

I would have it set now if T-Mobile cell phones didn’t suck so much.

I guess you may consider this the “long overdue, obligatory, cliched, [first and more than likely last] melancholy break-up song” I’ll post with that intention.

Song: Falling Slowly
Artist: Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova
Album: Once Original Soundtrack

(Added the audio code to this custom template and I just wanted to make sure it worked. It was one of the few songs I had on my laptop.)
